I’ve got the details of an amazing competition from my friends at Winmau … and it could see you backstage VIP at the PDC World Championships! I know I’ll be entering this one – not to be missed.
Mervyn King needs a new walk-on tune – and you can help!

That’s right – Merv needs you to come up with his new walk-on song, which will be used at the World Championships at the Alley Pally this Xmas.
The competition will run until November the 20th 2010.
The prizes:

1st Prize

• 2 VIP backstage tickets to watch Mervyn play his first round in the Ladbrokes World Championship 2011
• A practice session with Mervyn before the event
• 2 unique signature sets of signed darts

2nd Prize

• 5 runners up will receive a signed set of Mervyn’s darts

How we select a winner:

• Mervyn will choose the winning track.
• All those who have named this track will go into a ballot and the winners will be drawn at random by Mervyn.
• Prize winners will be notified by December 1st 2010 and published in the darts press where possible

there was nothing wrong with a bit of motorhead, one of the only good walk on songs in darts. He'll probably go for something pure **** like Wade now.
