Anyone else having issues with Anytime on SKY HD box? Anytime displays the normal listings but includes the contents of your planner and exiting this causes the box to freeze and blue screen

Rang Sky and they are getting loads of calls on it

Had this earlier today. Exactly as you describe. Go through the Anytime listings and your own planner programmes show up and then it completely freezes.

Have to unplug the box for a few minutes to get going again.....sounds like an upgrade gone horribly wrong

Have this too, Pace HD box takes a dump if you try and open anytime.
Needs to be unplugged to get it back.
Maybe Sky need to introduced to the concept of Beta Testing their software properly:rolleyes:

Just had this issue also. Rang SKY after the normal reset procedure (switching off, unplugging, etc.....) didn't work and was told that I could probably get it back if I went through a series of steps where I would lose everything on the hard-drive. Not much point in series linking any of your favourite shows and catching up later then!! Had this exact same answer about 18 months ago when my box froze. The guy on the phone then said that it might be sorted in about 48 hours. What a joke! Seriously considering dumping them at this stage and going to freesat!

On my third box since July with this problem, seems like Sky are just shovelling the boxes out of the factories without proper testing, both Amstrad and Samsung HD boxes have gone down on me, engineer v. blase about the whole thing.....

Have had the same problem since last night, when it started recording Casualty on BBC One the screen went blank and the box went into standby mode, then later last night after getting it restarted I selected Anytime the screen went blank and the box into standby again and again.

    Thankfully its not just me.

Plenty of info about the issue here:

Switch off anytime, power down the box (unplug lead),when system is booted back .up you should be able to switch anytime back on and issue should be resolved.
