    Hello

Got a odd error today on my PC. At first my PC wouldnt actually turn on the lights and fans would spin then go off after about 5 seconds. No beeps nothing.

Eventually it turned on and stayed on and at the bios screen got a BIOS check sum error. And it started some kind of auto recover feature system rebooted and everything seems fine now.

Googlised the error of course ! Some say it could be the cmos battery going dead. My mobo is only a few months old though. And its kind of odd the way it wouldnt actually turn on at first.

    Anyway the specs.

    i7 860 @ 3.8GHz
    4GB Ram
    Gigabyte P55 mobo
    GTX 285
    Asus Xonar ds1
    Windows 7

Have the latest bios. Havnt installed any new devices the only thing I can think thats different is that its abit colder in the room today
