Can’t afford fees this year one year done so far.Not looking for pity looking for a job and a mentor.Someone I could work for one or two days a week or more who can teach me a thing or two about business and running a business.I’m more than willing to work and work hard I will.

I’m hungry to learn and work don’t mind if I have to get my hands dirty any and all types of businesses considered, service, retail , distribution, transport, manufacturing etc...

I would preferably like to find somewhere in Dublin County if possible but won’t turn down a good opportunity elsewhere.

Not looking to get paid or for a Bill Cullen who I can play lick arse with!! No disrespect to Mr.Cullen but I hope you get my Point.

    All reply’s welcome

    Fair play David, great attitude.

    Thanks Ronan,

Just had a look at your group of websites seems to be no stopping you :) Have you any tips on how to make it in the world of Business?

Thanks. I don't know if I have any tips or secrets. Most people don't succeed because they never start, so start something, anything, even if the first attempt doesn't succeed the lessons you'll learn are priceless. I think with your attitude you look like your taking the first step.

They say 9 - 10 business fail and this puts a lot of people off. To me it just means you have to have the guts start 10 businesses to be sure of making yourself a success. After the first one the odds of success go up dramatically.

And lastly work twice as hard and twice as smart as your competitors, its the best short cut to success.

Really like your attitude OP, it will definitely get you a reward!! What I would say tho if your planning on doing this for free, you will need your own insurance it's like work experience from school/college once you obtain this your best bet would be to approach some of the bigger retail players such as BandQ or Home Base. These places are always taking on work experience but make sure you talk to HR in these types of organisations so it's clear you are there to shadow managers no be the shop floor donkey!!

Thanks again Ronan - Hi Tuxedo

Never taught of the insurance your right need to sort that i need to consider, I was hoping to find somewhere a little smaller to be honest i want to get involved in all aspects of the business and like i was saying before don’t mind getting hands dirty and breaking a sweat. Plus I want to see what makes the boss tick someone who has more to lose then just a wage.
