Good stuff John. Is this a regular walkabout? What is Dublin like on Friday night in Temple Bar? Would love to pay it a visit sometime

    Hi Leo,
Marcin and myself went on a spur of the moment walk last night in Temple Bar, lots of visitors there and all in good humour. We spent about 2 hours and stayed around Grafton Street and Temple Bar area only.
We will have to organise a night walk now that the dark evenings are back.
    John

Just curious if you get much pos/neg reaction from the subjects when you're taking pictures of them?

John, pic #2 has way too much PP and look's unnatural, they even look like shop mannequins out on the town!
pic #4 is far better, very oohhhnatural. :)

It very much depends on the subjects, they can all be very different in their responses.

Lots of people don't like their photos taken, I respect that. But if you have a bit of banter with them then they are happy to let you snap away and some will even go out of their way to pose for you. You have to be watchful all the time and its good to have 1 more photographer with you.

OK Janer, I agree I went over the top on pp of this pic.
Here it is as from the camera without pp. She has beautiful long hands and fingers.
    Thanks

Far better, I also meant pic #3 instead of #4 as been very ooohhhnatural!

You should also dumb down reds....reds always come out too strong in pictures.
I find Lightroom excellent for doing that.
