iPhone / iPod onto new IMAC

    Just got a new iMac, can anyone give me advice on how I would transfer my music ie iPod settings, and iPhone data from a Sony viao laptop onto the iMac, ie I want my iPhone and iPod synchronised with the iMac, thanks v much

    First of all good luck i did it on wed and i messed it up :( only now have sorted through my music and it took me ages adding songs back to it!

    what i did is i copied my itunes folder from my PC to my mac using a 4gb sd card and put it on my mac and clicked 'add to library' had to do this a few times though cause my library is vast, if you have a formatted external drive it might make it quicker!

    also you can connect up both computers over the network if you are more technical minded and transfer that way,


    for me the sd card got all the information over although in a messy way...

    if you Google it there are loads of ways to do it and they give step by steo instructions!
