Just recovering from a minor heart attack. iPhone 4 on 98% battery, picked it up to send a text and it was dead. Holding down home and power button got it going again. Anyone else have this?

It happened to me a 11 this morning. Hold down Home and Power button for 10 seconds or untill Apple logo comes up and it should re boot.

Happens sometimes. Did on the 3g and 3gs too. Smart phones like an old reboot now and then. Is yours on all the time too?

Think of it as a small laptop rather than a phone. It needs a reboot every now and again. :)
