My little lad is still on bottles, but likes rice cakes.
He struggles with being spoonfed, 80% comes back out, but he really likes the rice cakes - what other finger foods can I give him ?

Is it safe to give an apple piece ? Or maybe bread sticks ?

    Anyone any suggestions ? :) Thanks !

Toast, sticks of veg lightly steamed (carrot, butternut squash, sweet potato, parsnip, brocclli etc are all great), sticks of cheese, meat pieces...

My near 7 month old is hopeless with a spoon... won't let it near her mouth most of the time so we're trying baby led weaning. To be honest with you most of the food we give her gets discarded, but as long as they're still drinking bottles not much of it matters to be honest. She'll gum everything to bits and loves it. It is messy but worth it in the end :)
