    Hi all,
b'day is fast approaching and im gonna get either an iphone or an ipod classic as my old ipod (colour photo model 60g) finally died recently. im looking for advice on prices and what you reckon i should go for.
Basically i have a brick in my pocket that i use as a phone, nokia something or other, and have also had my ipod for my music. Realistically, id only ever use whatever i buy for music but if i get an iphone i might end up using the net more because i can... but then again maybe i should get an itouch and keep the phone i have?
anyway as i say advice is more than welcomed on the pros and cons etc...
    thanks in advance

iPhone is great but a lot more expensive than an iPod Touch. Depends on what you will pay for covenience, I suppose.

If you like gadgets at all it has to be the phone imo. You get a lot more out of it.
If it's only for music like you say, you're better off with the ipod, but you're guaranteed to use the phone for more than just music once you get it (camera / phone / skype / gps / games / audiobooks / podcasts / internet). The storage is stingy compared to an ipod classic, but the amount of apps you can use to listen to music is unreal and regardless of how much music you have on your ipod you always seem to get bored with it.

If money is not the deciding factor then it has to be the iphone. You get all the ipod classic and the ipod touch has to offer AND a phone.

There is no real con except price.

Has to be the iPhone, worth every cent.

Getting an iPod Touch will just make you regret not getting an iPhone even more.

thanks for the advice guys, i reckon i may be swayed towards the iphone so. What price would i be looking at getting one with a decent storage for my music? my previous ipod was 60gs but i had a lot of crap on it that i never got round to deleting and it was still nowhere near full... im on o2 pay as you go aswell if this is an issue...
thanks for the advice so far.

Check the O2 website? If they are even available with O2. if not its Apple.com/ie for current prices and delivery times.
