Social Housing and Rent Allowance

Hi, I have just applied for Rent Allowance. However, the CWO said to me that I had to be assessed by the council for Social Housing. I did apply for that about a week ago but still haven't heard back. Does anyone know how long it takes for them to assess you? I am living in Co Galway. Thanks.

The housing section of Galway Co.Co. should have a rough estimation. It depends on staffing levels, number of applicants etc. Telephone and ask.
