    Anyone been on the above?
    How was it?

Alot of cruises seem to go from East to west coast of US for 15 days any shorter ones that stick to east coast?

I've done it a few times, 1st time is great or 1st hour :) its just like saling down a canal. Used to work on a ship.

Most of ships have videos playing showing canal been built so you actually appreciate it.

Most ships just do cruise about 15 days to reposition. Winter/summer. Most ships are east to west spring time on way from caribbean/europe to alaska/hawaii and back down sept/oct.

They are normally cheap cruises as not many other ports of call, repo cruises are always cheaper.

I would say lots nicer cruises out there but depends on what you want.

Have a look on cruisecritic.com i'm sure they have section on panama canal.

    Thanks!

TBH we are looking at a week honeymooning in Mexico and rather then 2 weeks on in a resort id like a week of doing something different so being over that side of the atlantic i thought something like a cruise from Florida down to the Canal and back up on same side maybe jump off in mexico on way back.

Do the Cruises go in June/July?
Whats the peoples age group on board, dont want a party boat or an OAP cruise?

    Preddy,

Only posted a question about Panama cruise this morning. Had seen it in a wedding magazine and thought it sounded great for honeymoon.
Each cruise company only seem to do a couple of them a year any of the ones i looked up either went in Jan/Apr or Sept/Oct/Nov.

They all seem to be for 13/14/15 days. I looked up the more popular cruise websites and find out info that way. Celebrity Cruises, Royal Caribbean and i think Norweigan Cruises.

If i find out any more info i'll let you know appreciate if you'd do the same
