Has Feminism gone too far or not far enough?

the 'is AH misogynist' thread was closed a couple of posts after i made light of the issue with a comment. i've seen dubs slag culchies, the irish slag the english, meat eaters slag vegetarians and whites slag blacks but i've never seen a thread closed with the reason 'this is just become a thread to have a go at...x' - as long as the comments were obviously meant light heartedly, there was never a problem.

my questions is this: at what stage does feminism go too far? instead of proportional representation in the dail, we may in the future have to have a quota of women - something i have found since its proposal to be blatantly and unapologetically sexist in nature - against males.

its not my fault i was born a man and am phsyically stronger than most females so manual labour suits me more than women, it's not my fault that women carry children and have instincts that makes them want to be with those children more than say a man will.

i have 2 kids and was not entitled to a single official day off when they were born - you'd swear i'd had nothing to do with the whole thing - even though women get up to 9 months off - this is is more than enough time to get back to work (i think women should get longer, but in the confused lines that surround this issue, that may very well be considered sexist!).

so whats the story - at what stage do we actually stop and say 'wait, there is a difference in sexes, one size does not fit all!'...

Careful, you're just being sexist now.

You know what the main cause of sexism is in modern Ireland or indeed the world?

    Being a guy.
