I really wasn't sure whether this related to any of the three main sciences, so I just posted here, mods, move if appropriate.

Right, so around 6 months ago I put a can of Lo-Carb (Blue can) Monster Energy above a grave of a deceased friend. It was his favourite drink so I left it there as a reminder to myself, but to try deter anybody from drinking it I coloured it in in permanent marker. Other than that I'd done nothing to the can.

2 weeks ago I was up at the grave, picked up the can and it was bone dry, not a single drop inside, nor even a grain of sugar or...anything  I thoroughly searched the can and there was no sign of a leak, piercing or any form of a hole anywhere...

    So...what happened...?

    Thanks :]

    Spooky...

What you should do is stick something dense to the can and leave it submerged in water. If there is some tiny leak, water should get in.

It's completely and utterly sealed, no entry or exit... scrutinised heavily! :P

    It baffles though...

It was meant to be a lighthearted pun on the LoCarb being slighty less than palatable....

OP ...just out of curiosity. Does the grave get direct sunlight ?

If so, I am wondering if the can heated up to the point where there was a slight break in the seal on the can that let the liquid evaporate out. The constant heating and cooling of the can allowing it to almost 'reseal' itself ?

    Just a thought.

No, not directly, it's covered by trees on one side and flowers on the other at all times.

so have you submerged it in water or not. Really, just having a look at it ain't good enough to know if there is a leak in it.

I poured water over it mixed with Fairy Liquid, then squeezed the can, no bubbles formed.

This sounds like a troll to me. So no sunlight can reach the grave because of these giant flowers on one side that blocks out all the rays. If you want to be taking serious here maybe try posting some evidence that the can is not in fact holy. Write a paper on your findings and then come back with the evidence and I'll start listening.

    Troll?

Go to Mount Jerome, stick to the right side of the church as you go up the drive, around 20 yards up you'll find a grave with Mark Quinn in it on the right hand side, covered by Evergreen trees on the graves left and more graves on the right. IThe tombstone/cross is dated 23/12/09 and you should see a can of Budweiser, the can of Monster in question, a figurine of 2Pac, a valentines day card and an abundance of flowers.

Care to question the facts anymore...?
