    Saddle Swap

The idea is this. We must all have at least a few saddles lurking unused, in our sheds and garages.

Perhaps the mods would sticky this one up?

I am looking for a SanMarco Regale, have 3 saddles to trade.

    1. Fizik Antares black/red- perfect condition
    2. Specalized Toupe black 143-perfect condition
    3. Turbomatic 4 black - perfect condition

    Happy Cycling:)

The Toupe is my saddle of choice - hold onto yours until I can find something to tempt you with??

Also, I'm looking for a late 70s / early 80s saddle for a retro bike.

how about a brooks b17 for the toupe?

    Hi there,
Is your Brooks B17 the standard or narrow version?
    How old is it?
My specialized Toupe, has only been used twice.
After riding 60klm on the Toupe, I was in agony. So much so, I had to ring my girlfriend, to come and collect me:eek:

Would be interested in a swap:)

ouch... I have a toupe 143 myself and havent had any problems... but maybe I could look at the fizik if we meet up for a swap just in case.

My brooks is the standard one. It is about a year old BUT is on a garaged bike that only saw about 6 weeks use of summer commuting. It's almost broken in!

    Hi There,
A standard brooks b17, would be too wide for me. Would like to trade any of my saddles for a Brooks Team Pro or perhaps a Swallow.
I saw a bike shop in Clonmel, had toupe saddles for €80.
What I really want, is a San Marco Regal-e with titanium rails (don't want carbon)

No worries. I actually also have a selle sanmarco regal in white with copper rivets and rails

    http://www.sellesanmarco.it/it/Vintage/Selle/109/Regal.html.

It is brand new. mounted but never used. I would consider parting with it...

Ah a vintage regal, now you are speaking my language:)
Will do a straight swap for the toupe 143
can you post a photo of the saddle?
I shall post a photo of the toupe later.

Right Lads, dig out all those unwanted and uncomfortable saddles, and put em up here.

    Happy Cycling:)

    a couple of pics-
if we're going for a swap could I look at the antares too? I'm putting together a tt bike and not sure how nice the toupe would be in an aero position!

    Hi There,
Here are some photos of the Specialized Toupe 143
As you can see, it's in perfect condition.
I will gladly swap it for your white regal.
It cost me €100 euro, and it's by far the most uncomfortable saddle I have ever sat on.
Are you sure, you can sit on one of these horrible torture devices?

The Fizik Antares, is on hold for a local lad at the moment.
It cost me €160. So I would be looking for around €120 cash or swap it for a regal-e

    Hi Cyco,
I posted the Toupe 143, on to you earlier today.
Hopefully you will find it more comfortable, than I did:D
I have learned my lesson, no more fancy dan racing saddles for me:eek:
Shall stick to San marco Rolls and Regal, from now on:)
Although I would love to try a Brooks Team pro, or swallow....lol....
