    one of the girls i live with, her bf let himself into the house while she wasnt here and started cooking their dinner.. not really too happy about it, would i be right to say something to her or would i just be causing an unnecessary argument??

    Might just be a once off. She could have had a rough day at work/college, or they may have had an argument and this was his way of apologising. Don't jump in all guns blazing.
    Obv if it becomes a regular occurrence, you'll need to have words- ideally with the backing of other housemates.

    Did she make him a copy of the key or did he just borrow hers? If you're not comfortable with him being in the house alone, or the two of you being together in the house without her you should tell your roomate ASAP.

    I think this is a bit much to be honest. If your housemate knew that he was going to be there first she should have rang you and told you.

    If it bothers you-you should say something now, because you can say it in a quiet way. If you leave it, it will just escalate and you may end up having a row.
