the g.f just went into vodafone shop to enquire about the 360 plan for payg and she was told for €30 per month you can get all vodafone to vodafone calls and texts for free OR all network texts for free.
She then enquired about the data bundle(which I was informed here that is 100mb per day at .39cent per day) and she was told "oh thats another €12.35 per month for your free internet on the 360 plan??!!:confused:

Don't know what to believe now as I was just about to change over to vodafone from o2 for the 360 plan alone, which i presumed was alot cheaper than the €42 per month rolling contract above.

Any ideas if this info is correct or what?

Could it come down to the fact that 39c x 31 = 12.09?

    Kinda close?!

Sorry, but I probably did'nt explain myself well.

I was told in this forum that for €20 per month on the 360 plan that would would get free any newwork texts(like the o2 plan im currently on) Plus you could use up to 100mb per day data for €12.09 in total, which would come out of your €20 per month top up.

therefore if you used the data every day you'd have about €8 left for calls. Plus the 100mb per day works out as 3GB per month for €12.09.

That's how it was advertised on their website as working out.

Worked for me fine and used the €8 for calls.

Personally I think you're best signing up for Vodafone advantage plus as well as this 360 payg.

If you top up by 30 quid (which gives you 36 online), you get free calls and texts to other vodafone numbers, or free texts to all networks for a month.

In addition you get 250mb of data allowance, which is sufficient for light browsing, and will help you avoid the 360 rate for a while.

With the 36 credit I think it's worth buying a text bundle, I usually get 400 for 20 quid and I'm left with 16 for calls to other networks.

Overall I find I get close to a month and a half out of this, before I have to top up again.

But in any case you get 600 international and national webtexts -why not keep your 20 quid or buy 5GB of data instead with it? You still have unlimited free SMS to Vodafone plus 600 free ones to everywhere else (except some Italian nets).

Yea that's a fair point. I'm just generally lazy when it comes to swapping over to eirtext though. The UI isn't as nice as the sms one either... Sometimes I'm a little ridiculous!

    Or try Jelly?

Thats exactly the plan / bundle I am on... :)

I only top up with €20 a month and with this I get free calls and texts to other Vodafone users. I also registered for the 360 bundle. This takes 39c a day from my credit if I use the 3G services in that day.

Suits me brilliantly as the majority of all my friends / family are vodafone...

However I got a call last week from Vodafone trying to sell me one of the €30 a month package. Why would I?? lol

Maybe ask the question in the vodafone forum to get the most accurate answer.
