You can get these in Arnotts. They're Wolford bandage tights. Sooo sexy

They look like hold-ups but they're actually tights. I have them :)

Lilly Allen had lovely ones a few months ago! Alot of girls wear them now, very pretty and sexy.

I love real hold ups though :) Under a dress = sexy and feeling a little bit naughty!

    Wow - love these,

Question for you, you probably don't just wear them just under your pants like Cheryl does :) what goes with them? plain black dress? might have to be short to get the effect.

Look great on her of course.

I am addicted to tights! I have a whole drawer of tights, from black to multicoloured and loads of designs. I was delighted when the cold weather came back to I could get into dark/coloured tights!

I got the Henry Holland Pretty Polly hold-up effect ones last year and I still have them in the packet! I'm afraid to take them out and wear them in case I ladder them.

Love the tights Cheryl is wearing. Not sure what I'd wear them with tho!

mxyi - love the henry holland ones - where did you get them? I think River Island had them, but haven't seen them in a while.

Yes cold weather brings out a bit more flexibility with leg-wear.

notonlybutalso - it's a totally individual thing, I'd say it a 40-60 split with my friends between wear tights a lot and never wear them ever.

Am tempted by CC's tights above, if I could figure out what would go with them.

i thought women hated wearing tights these days??? Am i wrong. My gf hates them maybe its just her. I think they make a girl far more attractive.
So more of your mates dont wear them. It seems european women wear them more than irish women. I think some girls think they are for grannys?

    Off Topic posting. Please stop.

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

I got them on asos.com last March/April before they sold out. I saw them in River Island during the summer but haven't been in there recently! Keep an eye on River Island or Arnotts and they might be back in for the winter.

He has ones for Pretty Polly now with little houses on them, very cute!

Thanks myxi - might try River Island if I'm in town this weekend.

    off topic (kinda) but..

how do you stop tights from bobbling? always get little white balls of lint or whatever all over my tights and there are too many to pick off!

or am i not washing them right? or just buying shyte tights? (penneys)

37 euro is still a lot for a pair of tights, no?
I wanted these, but I'm not sure I'd pay that much for them ... especially given how easily tights rip etc.

Am I the only one who doesn't like these? I don't think many people will get away with wearing them? They'd probably look amazing with a stunning dress and killer heels on the right legs, but I can already see 15 year old girls wearing them under hoodies and skirts with runners and uggs.

Dunno, just seem too theatrical to me.

    Sorry =(

    They're €37 in Arnotts.

Apparently there's a waiting list now.

There was one pair left in Arnotts on Sunday, in a small. €42 tho, not €37 I'm almost certain

I just don't see what's nice about them! Ok, I get the whole hold-ups sexiness appeal, but the rest of them are so unflattering!!

I can't see many people being able to carry this look off really...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,443 ✭✭✭ams

they have the hold up ones (copies of last years Henry Holland ones) in penneys - when a trend like this gets to penneys time to avoid! I love the look of the bandage ones but wouldn't be exposing the tops of my thighs in them!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 47 jamillia

Regina & Ollchailin, yeah as per my earlier post, I like em, but don't think I could pull it off, you kind of have to be wearing just a Leotard! Once you add a skirt they'll look a bit mad I suspect. But I think they're cool. They might work with slim fitted knee length shorts & heels... or maybe not...

Playgirl: Cheap tights + washing machine = bobbles. Suggest you hand wash (a pain, but you'll never get a bobble), or wash in one of those net bags, on cool, and on short cycle with very little spinning.

I agree ams, when fashion tights hit Penneys (or any other fashion statement piece), I know I won't wear them anymore. Its stupid, I know.

Jamilla, I agree, I think they look good in the video but not so much on the 15 year olds. :)

These would want to be some pretty magical tights for the price!
    They are lovely though.

Arnott's has them back in stock, if anyone's interested. I got a phone call this morning to let me know.
