Sorry if this has been asked before!

Is there any shop in Dublin that sells the iPhone unlocked? I'm thinking one of the Mac resellers might?

    Cheers for any replies.

Nuts! Wanted to buy from a shop because with Apple's wait time I won't be able to avail of the free case offer :(

The free case is no big deal. I sold mine on Adverts.ie 4 hours after it arrived by post. You could pick up a sim free 4 there.

As far as I'm aware you will still qualify for the free case aslong as you buy the phone before September 30th. So surely that means that even if you didnt receive your phone till the first week in October you would still qualify for the case as you bought it before the deadline.

Well at least thats what im hoping for as my iPhone is waiting to be shipped (although it should be here before the 30th so either way im getting a free case!) :)

Yeah the wording doesn't seem too clear. I'm thinking you maybe have to apply through the app before the deadline of Sep 30th?

You can buy the iPhone 4 sim free from the Mac store at the Molly Malone statue. I was in there about 3 weeks ago and they had six in the cabinet. Sim free from Apple.

Whether they are still there now is another matter.

Maybe your right. I didn't enquire. I just saw 6 of them in the cabinet and assumed since the shop was not affiliated with any network that they were sim free.

They'll still be offering bumpers, as far as I know, but through Apple Care rather than the app.

    From Appleinsider

"The company will still provide free bumpers to customers who contact AppleCare, but they will no longer be able to request third party cases as they could through the iPhone 4 Case Program software on the App Store. "

Just to confirm that I bought my iPhone before the 30th September deadline, it was delivered to my address on the 24th September (although i didn't get to open it till Sunday the 1st October as I was out of the country.

I downloaded the free case app on Sunday 1st October, ordered the bumper and got confirmation that it has been dispatched today. :)
