I remember posting here about some fully comp policies being cheaper for me than TPFT. Well for those who doubted me at the time... (in the end I got it for €505 with Aviva)

You're paying twice the excess on the Comprehensive policy, perhaps that's the reason?

EDIT: I was just reading the bit with the * in the picture...

So I see now. This was the default screen presented to me (no options chosen at that stage).
I must check if there's much difference when the excess is balanced when I get a minute.

I had exactly the same thing with Allianz.
Comprehensive was actually cheaper, than TPFT.

I went for Comprehensive though.

Tried to get a quote to see how i would get on and all get is this:

"Sorry, you do not meet the necessary criteria to obtain a quote. If you have any queries please call us."

:mad:

Doesn't make any sense how fully comp would be less.

Usually its Safari but I go through phases where another browser gets used (hence IE)

The other thing I noticed was that as I'm an honest law abiding citizen and now being an owner of a car from Japland, I had to tick the "my car is an import" box and then got the PFO from so many companies
