I've been listneing to radio all day, all the stations carrying pro-cowen texts and emails.
Alot of the wording very similar on different stations.

    It would seem that way.

It is very suspect given the popularity figures of this government and its leader in polls.

Definitely. Even seeing a flood of usernames on this forum that I don't recognise is suspicious. All saying the same thing, 'what's the big deal?'

There is definitely a major push by the FF spinners to tarnish FG for their reaction to to this mornings interview. I don't give a damn about any political party but the manner in which FG are being lambasted for stating the obvious is an admission that FF are doing their best to draw a line over this morning, and turn the tables on the opposition.

They can spin any oul nonsense they like.
Anyone listening to the interview (now available online and widely disseminated) can tell for themselves he was sheets to the wind.
Worse, FF can't make the rest of the world STFU the way they can the Irish media. This story is making headlines on BBC, New York Times, Washington Post, in Spain, Australia, Britain, all over.
Already, the cost of our borrowing has shot up today as a result.
Cat's out of the bag now. The markets and the world believe we're governed by drunks.
