I had the same problem with glasses. I was chatting to some friends who said I should talk to a dispensing optician. Seems they are qualified in the lenses and glasses and not just sight tests. I went to a fellow in Nutgrove Shopping centre. The shop was McNallys. He really knew his stuff and gave me a lens that was lighter than normal and told me to use glasses with pads. they didint cost the earth and I havn't looked back!!!

It's possibly down to the nosepads. You can ask in your regular opticians to check that they are sitting properly on your nose. Most places should have a tool for adjusting how they sit on your face. If that fails they can replace the pads (again they should have a stock of replacement pads there) for larger nosepads. Going down the road of changing your glasses and lenses should be a last resort. If you do change your glasses consider a plastic frame as they don't have nosepads. Hope that helps good luck

Are they quite new? I had that problem when I got new lenses in my own frames. Never happened before so must have been something to do with teh change in lenses, but after a week or two my nose seemed to get used to them and the red mark stopped appearing.
