Sorry I don't know where to post this so I'm posting this here. The mods could move this to the relevant place...

I want to receive a courier from UK and I want to know which would be the best/cheap/reliable courier to get it from.

It'ld be great if anyone could help.

    Thanks.

My logic in posting it here is that among the dozens of people who'll inevitably post absolute junk, there might be one sensible person who might post something useful...

    fingers crossed and waiting.......

Don't ask him to deliver paper whatever you do.
Its a couple of alloy wheels. They're gonna be fairly heavy. I think around 15kg...

*Tries to be the sensible one*

I think DPD are quite good, I've used them before.

Why does it matter if he's from the UK? That's a bit of a strange fetish.

Damaged the passenger side ones on mine after hitting the curb so I only really need two to replace those.

Can't find the one's I need over here. A few people selling their used ones in UK on the forum for my car, so I'm looking to get it off them...

Does anyone have any idea how much a 15kg 2x15" wheel size parcel would cost to be delivered to Dublin?

Actually, I guess it would be more helpful if anyone could tell me which is the best forum to inquire about this in...

    Thanks.

If you're getting volleyballs delivered don't get FedEx to do it, you won't get them for years and when you do some fiend will have drawn faces on them.

If you're looking for prices you'd be better off going to the websites of a few companies and checking their rates rather than asking on a forum.

If it's just personal recommendations you're looking for... I can't recommend any in particular but people are always giving out about DHL so you may want to stay away from them.

Would it not be up to the person you're buying the alloys from to organise a courier anyway?

^Was trying to make it easier for the guy sending the alloys and also wanted to get an idea myself of how much it'ld cost so that the guy sending it doesn't wind me up...

The courier service websites don't have any straightforward info on rates. You either have to 'contact' them or fill out a very long form and only after you fill out payment info could you find out how much it costs...

Might give their office here a call tomorrow and see if it'ld be any helpful...

Google is your friend.. Nightline-Delivers and DPD etc have arrangements with UK mail so contact a few and get the best price!

There is actually a Courier forum, though it's very quiet.

You could PM Karma and see if he/she has any suggestions.
