I got a letter with the details of my redundancy lump sum payment from my former employer last year.

This has since been mislaid/binned. Unfortunately i now need it to claim Job Seekers Allowance.

Would the revenue have details of this that i can get my hands on or would i need to go back to my previous employer and hope they have a copy.

The dole office should have your employment history and might have a closing date on your last job?

Apologies for not being clearer- i need to show them how much i received as a reduncancy payment not the date i was made redundant.

If it's less than €50,000 don't worry. Ask your ex-employer for a statement.
