Sorry if this is in the wrong place but I'm new here.
I've had a Panasonic plasma and a panasonic DVD player package for about a year and I've just got around to routing the signal from Sky through the DVD player into the TV.
I seem to have lost picture quality ? Not a great deal, but noticeable nevertheless. Any suggestions ?

how did you have them all connected before??
if you dont NEED to have the sky going to the dvd player first then revert to your original setup

I came out of the TV to the DVD recorder. The point of going from the Sky box to the DVD player to the TV was to record programmes.
I think the problem was that I was using an HDi cable to go from the DVD player to the TV and I don't have a HD Sky box ! Anyway whatever the problem was, the loss of quality was noticeable so I've done what you suggest... gone back to the old way. Pity about the recording, though !
