No antivirus software, im better off.

    This has been going on for years:
    I have never gotten a serious virus, I never have anti virus software issues, I dont have to pay any fees, my laptop runs faster and more efficiently without it, and most importantly I dont click anything stupid like a .exe file Im unsure of etc.
    I do use registry mechanic to clean things up from time to time, and if my computer really starts to slow down its generally a combination of things, not just malware etc. In that case i will reformat my computer,something which should be done every few months anyway, I have only had to do this twice in the last 3/4 years.

    I found it difficult googling this topic, as once you put in the words antivirus you have thousands of hits from companies telling you how important it is. I think its the next best thing to a scam and am going to continue like this.
