    Kilkenny has just won Tidiest Large Urban Centre award in National Tidy Towns Competition. Fair play to everyone who was involved in that.

    Well done to everyone involved.

    Maybe some effort can now be put into some of the areas outside the urban centre. The walkway between The Fairways, The Orchard, Rosewood, Ashfield and The Pococke, has so much litter and dog crap. It's a disgrace.

    Congratulations to all involved and very well deserved! It's great to see voluntary effort being successful on a large scale.
    I hope the success of the Tidy Towns Committee will be built upon and not strangled at birth by this sort of stuff:
