iv looked through the thread on this at the top of the page but cant find my answer so im hoping someone can help me here.
im trying to unlock a 3g iphone. i have used redsnow on i to install cydia but i cant get into the phone because it keeps saying insert a valid sim. im presuming this means the sim that it was originally packaged with. the problem being that i dont have that sim and dont know what the original carrier was. it was bought on the internet a while ago and passed on to a few people so i have no idea.
im doing this for a spanish friend in spain so im guessing its spanish but cant be sure, is there any other possible way around this?
hopefully this makes sense and someone can help me.
    thanks
