I'm still waiting for gone-to-the-wall developers to come out of the woodworks and to give evidence of how they paid off certain FF and FG councillors around the country for votes to re-zone plots of land that helped inflate the burst bubble.

    It'd be good watching.

People coming out to admit to bribing public officials for their own ends?

You realise that they won't actually come out and do that!

The ends would justify. I'd say the councillors were more in the wrong, na?

To what end would these people rat out politicians for? A sudden strike of conscience? I doubt it!

And what benefit would these developers get from admitting to bribing officials:confused:

Correct me if I'm wrong but all I can see is negatives ( from their point of view)

and why only FF and FG councillors? Are the rest squeky clean ? or are you a Labour supporter per chance?:)

Maybe the fact that some of them might have accounts in the formerly Anglo Irish owned 1.25bn Austrian bank that was sold the day before Sean Fitzpatrick resigned?
Sunday Business post has an article on it.
