fergal white fitted a suppressor on my tikka today, and its actually shooting better now than it was before he threaded the barrel. i shot a 1.25" group at 200yards prone, off a 13"-24" bipod, with no rear bag rest in a wind ranging from 2-6 mph. i cant wait to see what it can do off the bench.
fergal, if you're reading this, thank you very much. i couldn't be happier if i tried
    cheers,
    declan:D:D:D:D

The vast majority of rifles will shoot better with a mod fitted or shoot the same ,i have yet to hear of one shooting worse .

Its down to harmonics, lack of recoil and noise .

Unless, of course, you screw the pooch with the fitting of the moderator. Which I think was the OP's point regarding the work he had done.

to make a catastrophic error or failure
