Could anyone recommend a reasonably priced hotel in Rome please?

We stayed at Hotel Campo De'Fiori a few years ago. I don't know how the rates compare with other hotels, but the location was fabulous - right in the middle of everything and strolling distance from everywhere we wanted to see.

    Hotel Aurelia:

Had a friend stay there last year, he found it pretty good especially when the price is considered: 36 a night. It's right beside the Aurelia metro stop, so you can use the Metro to carry out your sightseeing and its quiet cheap and efficient.

Also the metro links to Ciampino Airport, get off at Anagnia stop and get a courtesy bus (2 euro) to the Airport 10 minute away.

Can't vouch for it's prices at the moment (didn't check them) but the rooms should have got even better as it was under going renovations when my friend stayed for four nights.

I stayed at Domus Aurealia about 4 Years ago. It is very centrally located, and convenient for trips to the Vatican. It is no frills, but is clean and comfortable en-suite Rooms. It has a Lift and is close to a bus Route.

Just wondering if you could give me the name of the apartment you got. Would like to stay in apartment rather than hotel when I visit next year. Thanks
