What could be causing the slight knocking/bumping sound from the rear of a '04 Fiesta 1.4 TDCi. Have checked obvious (spare wheel, contents of boot ,exhaust mountings). Most noticeable when driving slowly on slightly uneven surface.

It could be somthing knocking/bumping in the rear of the car. That would probably cause a bumping/knocking sound. Or it could be a worn bushing.

    i would say bushing.

unless you have something loose in the spare wheel well.
