    Hi all,

Hoep this evenign find s you well! just wondered if some of you could help with a problem I have suddenly been having with my laptop.

basically, the screen appears to have died. I've goggled this nd searched here, but I can't find advice, because it's not actually totall dead.

When I boot up it comes on then goes off. PC boots fine. I plug in an external monitor, it comes on for about 5 seconds, then goes off. I unplug the monitor, same. I can use the PC fine with the monitor (doing it now!). I assume this rules out it being a bkaclight problem.

Very occasionally I get a very faded image, but 95% of the time it's out, I get nothing. Even in a dark room with a torch shined at it.

It's relatively new, a few months or so, but I want to avoid having to be without it for a few weeks even though it is under warranty.

    Cheers guys,

    P.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

95% problem with bulb ... 5% with inverter
