HOW DO YOU TRADEMARK TAGLINES/SLOGANS/LOGO'S?

As the title says, how do you do this?

I have spent good money getting a logo designed and have thought up a catchy tagline/slogan for my new website, but I don't want these to be stolen.

For example. MacDonalds. (I'm Lovin it).

    Nike, (Just do it).

    Any advice?

They're very helpful and you can save yourself a fortune in legal fees if you do the registration yourself

Blacknight is right. Go make an appointment in Kilkenny (Patent Office) and they will give you the best advise for free. Cheers Oliver

Still does for the application. If it gets accepted it's a further ~€180 which covers you for 10 years afaik.

    Thanks for all the advice.

€200 or so would be a small price to pay for peace of mind.
