    Jesus!

Theres some amount of racing on today! And not crap racing, I mean a truck full of good racing. Between the two Leger meetings, there are listed races at Chester and Goodwood which has a G3, and decent handicaps littered everywhere.

    Its too much.

    What do you fancy?

My head is bloody fried, too much for my brain to comprehend!

Poet's Place in the 2:45 at Donny, big style!

He looks special but I could never go in deep on a jolly in a 22 runner race. A handicap no less! Especially over a sprint distance. Theres no time to recover from an incident.

I hope it doesn't send you begging if he loses but look a Tajneed - a good thing everyone was saying.

    Chester.

Only the one bet here 3.35 Golden Sword e/w. I can see the race being setup for him with the likes of Les Fazzani, Harris Tweed and even Bikini Babe in the line up this race is going to be run at a scorching pace and having followed Golden Sword this season i think he's needs a little further so the early pace and the good to soft ground should make this a true stamina test.

    Goodwood

One bet at Goodwood Poet in the 3.00 Select Stakes. Like the way he won the Rose Of Lancaster stake the last time out and imo this field isnt much better than what he beat that day. Ground should be much the same aswell and i can see him running them in to the ground from the front.

    Sandown
4.00 Olivers Gold went in my notebook the last day when finishing a staying on 3rd over 7F runs over a mile is nicely weighted and should go close. NON RUNNER

    Doncaster

    2.15
Waiter's Dream have backed this horse the last two times so he owns me nothing. Fallon was interviewed coming back in on him the last day and he said he gave him the feel of a really nice horse. Up against a Godolphin 2yr old who was impressive winning his maiden by 7L however none of the horse behind him that day have come out and won since. At the prices and with Waiter Dream experience he gets my vote.

    3.20
Snow Fairy e/w is the pick. Pity Ryan Moore has to ride Total Command but Eddie is a fine sub. Loved the way she won the Epsom Oaks and then was even better in the Irish Oaks with both her wins she was staying on well to the line even in the Yorkshire Oaks in which the early pace wasnt that strong she was galloping all the way to the line i really dont think the step up to 14F + is going to be a problem and i think Rewilding is there for the taking as he put in a huge performance in winning the Great Voltigeur Stakes and i think he may struggle to run up to that only 3 weeks later.

    Curragh

    3.10
Zoffany is the one to be on here. Best 2yr in training at the moment and should be O'Briens next superstar. Won 5 from 6 races the last one being the Phoenix Stakes over this course which he won fairly easily imo. Should win this and give O'Brien his 8th win in this race before going on to the Dewhurst and the Grand Criterium in France.

    3.45
Sans Frontieres is my main bet for the week having got 6/1 earlier this week. Looks to be a two horse race with Sans Frontieres and Profound Beauty. Sans Frontieres looks to be getting better each time he steps up in trip and the ground is not a worry. There are questions marks over the ground for Profound and this looks a group one with a serious lack of depth. Top French jock Peslier on board so all the boxes ticked for me and im expecting Sans Frontieres to take this before heading to Melbourne.

    1pt e/w Golden Sword
    1pt win Poet
    1pt e/w Olivers Gold N/R
    2pts win Waiters Dream
    2pts e/w Snow Fairy
    2pts win Zoffany
    5pts win Sans Frontieres

Anybody who likes shorties should take a good look at Krypton Factor in the 1:45 at Sandown. Highly progressive, won 4 of 8 starts, won easily last twice. Handles all ground, won over C&D, can be held up or lead from pillar to post so no worries about tactics and he's entered in a Listed race in October and I wouldn't be surprised to see him competing at a higher level next year. He's unbeaten over a stiff 5f and should relish this test and is well in at the weights on official ratings. Lot's more to come from him too and if you're into backing short prices he should hopefully get the day off to a good start. I'm hoping for 5/4 or so to make me happy to jump in, odds on isn't worth the bother. The Hannon horse is a danger though.

I fancy Les Fazzani here to be honest. Golden Sword has a good chance but I can never trust ex-Ballydoyle horses.

Sans Frontiers looks solid though. Nice price you got! He has had his problems and as you say is improving for races and distance. Hard to knock him and could still be value. Flying Cross is a total unknown though and could be special - Dark Horse

Agree with you about trusting ex-Ballydoyle horse just think the race will be run to suit Golden Sword and the front runners may cut each other throats up there.

Sans Frontiers has had problems but looks to be over them now and is starting fill out the potential he showed as a 3yr. Your right about Flying Cross he could be anything but surely this race was targeted for age of aquarius before the breakdown so im hoping that Flying Cross is running for place money !!

IIRC Golden Sword was sent out to lead in his last race. He's flexible that way though and if they have any sense they'll adopt a stalking position. Its always best to be on the front end at Chester though

Blew the start losing a few lengths and still won handily! 4/5 was the best price available this morning, good IR prices though!
