I'm hearing this sound that appears maybe every 10 minutes just about, that is coming from my speakers that I sense may be from some hidden spyware or virus on the PC. I've heard it before in the past, and it was some kind of keylogging virus and I got rid of it.

i have run the avast run ccleaner. this had happened before long time ago but it stopped i supposed it stopped due to avast.

it is not any dodgy hard drive noise or anything like that. please dont respond with silly suggestions ok. i ran house call online - nothing.

what is it. had it before have it now. also i notice the machine is a bit slower than usual.

also when i play videos the sound breaks up every so often possibly coinciding with the noise.

    any help would be great

    tadhg
