    Hey all,

I've decided to give up on waiting for the HTC Desire & I am gonna pick up a Galaxy S tomorrow instead... I'm with Meteor & was quoted a price of 159.99 for the phone on a 35 euro billpay contract...

My question is, is this the 8Gb version of the phone or the 16 Gb version?

    Cheers

i got a desire off meteor there for 160 about 3 days ago.. apparently limerick had recieved 2 about a week ago so im guessing all stores did. they had 1 left at the time as people have stopped asking them have they the phone :P
if you ring around you might find one (bring proof of address, bank details etc when collecting on bill pay)
why not ask them if its the 8 or 16Gb version? my guess is its the 16Gb versoin for that price anyway (my desire was same contract and galaxy s is supposed to be cheaper?)

You can get the 8Gb version from Three for €89 with a €40 per month contract (18 month contract). It's got an external micro SD slot, so there is no shortage of memory.
I got mine today. Cool phone. I've a lot to learn though.
Word of warning - the battery life seems crap.

    I got it from cpw for €19.99 :D - I traded my Nokia 5800 in for €80.

Im on Meteor, €30 a month , 18month contract. I was going to go with the 12 month contract but Im hoping Meteor do another change to their terms at some point so I can opt out of the 18 months.

It took me a few days to get the phone tho, both Meteor and Cpw said they were sold out but I found one in Henry Street Cpw
