    Hey Guys,

I'm trying to help a friend gain more independance and for her to do what she wants to do. She absolutely adores horses however she is in a wheelchair and I haven't been able to find any equestrian centre or horse riding school in Dublin that are adapted for wheelchair users - either to ride the horse or be on a carriage and have controls of the reins.

Does anyone know of any activity centres or equestrian centres that are adapted so that people who are in wheelchairs are not limited in what activities they can do in Dublin, Meath, Kildare or Wicklow?

Other suggestions for activities are gratefully appreciated.

    Thanks

I know Bachelors Lodge in Navan do, and also theres an equestrian centre in Dunsany that do.

    Contact the RDAI http://www.rdai.org/

I contacted them recently because I have a 6year old daughter who has cerebral palsy and horse riding is supposed to be excellent for posture and toning and strengthening the muscles
