Internet on iPod doesn't work

    Anytime I go into safari all I get is just a grey screen, even though the wifi sign shows full power, does anyone have any idea what's wrong??

    Go to Setting > Wifi and tap the blue ball beside the ticked network name. Let us know what's in each field there.

    If the Wifi is working correctly you should have numbers in at least the IP Address, Subnet Mask and Router fields. Possibly also the DNS field.

    The IP address in most cases shouldn't start with 169.254 either.

    Just click forget this network, then re-scan for networks and put in your wi-fi password ect. That fixes mine every time.

    No good lads,still just a grey screen,
    My phone is working perfect with the wifi so I dunno what the problem is,
    I'll bring it somewhere to get it fixed,

    There is nothing I can do with them except tell you if they look correct.

    It doesn't start with 169.254,
    Sorry Aidan but i hear things about people hacking into other peoples computer all the time,u probably are just trying to help and thanks for that but I don't wanna take a chance,no offence

    but yet you'll bring it to a shop where the staff will actually have acess to everything else on the ipod?

    when the grey screen appears there should be a little elipse thing in the top right corner, just tap that and type googe and see where it lands you, your home page is probably just set to blank.
