christmas decorations out already

    I have just heard this minute that Christmas decorations are already in some of the shops - I think I heard either debenhams or woodies being mentioned - isn't it a bit early - I haven't even gone on my "summer holidays" yet

    if it is true then the shops must really be desperate to make money. :mad:

    Ashamed to admit it but i bought 2 selection boxes yesterday to send over to my niece and nephew in America, i was also slightly tempted to stock up on the boxes of Roses and Quality Street that were also on offer.

    It's rediculous it's only September but shops wouldn't have them out if people weren't buying them. They're normally in stock in bigger stores from early October.

    I worked in Penneys many moons ago, christmas stock out before Halloween and I remember one year we got swimwear in a few days before Christmas! They weren't put on sale til first week of Jan but it was so weird seeing the bikinis in delivery on a cold winter morning!!!:D
