Upgrading my Safety Razor

I've been using a Merkur Progress over the past year and would like to treat myself to a new safety razor.

I can't decide between the Merkur 11c (Open Comb) and the Merkur 37c (Slant Bar HD).

Does anybody have any experience with these?

The SB is a nice heavy razor but is very agressive and non-adjustable. Have you considered looking a vintage razors on eBay?

Merkur 37c (Slant Bar HD) - what does HD stand for? I'm new to all of this but am planning my first foray into DE razors soon.

    Heavy Duty - I believe.
