Refurb Nano

    So my Nano 5th gen got ruined by water, see my old thread. I thought about buying a new 6th gen nano but to be honest it looked like a downgrade of the 5th gen and i wanted a 16gb as i had filled up my 8gb one easily so i decided to order a refurb 5th gen off the apple website.

    This was my first time buying a refurb but i heard they get well tested and nine times out of ten work like brand new. So anyway yesterday i got it and it seemed perfect at first. I put music on and everthing was okay for the first few minutes. Then i noticed songs would just randomly skip even while the hold switch was on :(

    Now its nothing to do with the shake feature i turned that off even if the ipod its lying on the table without being touched it still skips. Its absolutely infuriating as you can imagine even when the hold switch is on it still skips songs. I've done everything possible reformated, reset it, updated it i'm now almost certain its a hardware issue.

    I expected a bit more from apple to be honest i dont know how they go about testing refurb products but i suppose because its an issue you might not notice after a quick check everything seems to be working fine on first glance so they might not notice it.

    I paid like €140 for it, will make me think twice about ordering a refurb again :(
    Does anyone know how what will happen if i send this one back will they just give me another refurb or what will happen?
