Chassis Number for Nissan Primera

Hi all - I need to find my chassis number to book an NCT test. It's for an 02 Nissa Primera - I don't have the log book / RF100 form.

Have searched these boards and generally online - but no joy

Check the bottom corner on the passenger side of the front windscreen where the wiper rests. The car's VIN should be located there.

Should be like this:



BTW a replacement VRC costs €12 and while it is unlikely, you could be asked to produce it at the NCT centre.

maybe if it has it's original windscreen

it is in 2 places in the engine compartment

just open the bonnet and look at the panel between engine bay and front passenger bay there should be a plate riveted on your left, (driver's side) with the number also the number is embedded into the panel just somewhere behind the brake servo , may need a rub of a DAMP CLOTH TO read it,

I've had windscreens replaced before and the replacement windscreen still displayed the car's chassis number in the bottom passenger side corner.

The Primera has it's chassis plate in one of 2 locations. Top left of the engine bay when you open the bonnet, or on the pillar when you open the driver's door.

What PaintDoc said - top left of the engine bay is probably the easiest...
