Gamestop have an offer of trade in three games from a list of 300 titles and get the Halo Reach for €3.00

Yeah definitely will be enough copies for everyone. I remember everyone preordering halo 3 when there was no need to at all.

No link available but I do have a printoff of the list of valid games they will take in trade in for halo. Ignore the checkmarks, they are mine.

I preordered mine from HMV on grafton street, €44.99 for standard edition and 800 xbox live points. I think that includes the preorder code aswell. Best value I could find online or in a shop.

I still think if this ends up at 30 euros it's a great deal because your also getting 800 points that's 8 euros for xbox live

So the games only 22 euro that cheap for a new game

But I wonder can you only get the basic one in this deal ?

There are some seriously crooked deals on that game stop list, was passing Gamestop this morning, and in the list of prices for trade in the window they were offering 30 for red dead redemption on it's own. So if I gave them my copy of Alan wake and Orange Box aswell, they still want me to give them €3 WHich id say is a real world value of €70 ish.

There are plenty of older less valuable titles on the list so just be careful what you offer the shower of sharks folks.

It really depends on the games you have to trade... some are good value towards this others would be ridiculous.

I can't find nothing on Argos.ie but on Argos.co.uk they have it marked down as £36.99 and when you pre-order it you can get Halo ODST for £5 so hopefully they will have a deal like that here.

I think the signs are up in store in the Ilac Centre Argos, I wont be checking as the rain is down for the day now,god is crying after the travisty at Goodison Park today.Gamestop have a trade in list in store over 200 games for Wii,Ds,Psp,PS3 and Xbox 360. Odd ones like Grid for PS3 and GTA4 for PS3 and Xbox 360.

I live close to an XV aswell but not sure..would people really be waiting for a game at that time of night ? What time people heading at...

I went to 1 midnight launch before and that was for Modern Warfare 2, there were around 20 people there and we just showed up at 11.50 and everyone was still waiting in their cars so you should be easy enough to be one of the first 5 unless you are going to a busy area, when I pre-ordered MW2 xtravision sent me a text on the Monday it was being released so if they do this again they might mention the deal to try and make people show up early!

i work in xtravision, i had some guy ask me tonight if 6 o clock would be early enough to start queing for reach monday evening!!:eek: Id say we will have about 10-15 people in.

And for anyone wondering, its 25 euro for the first 5 people. half price only applies to the standard edition. Everyone gets 800 points and a code for downloadable armor.

I saw a poster also advertising a free €5 gift card with purchase (and it looked like a proper gift card, not a "€5 off if you spend €50 or more" type). at €45 with an extra fiver to spend instore and 800MSP, it seems like HMV is the place to go.

Just got a copy in Midleton Xtra Vision.

there was 3 ahead of me in the queue and one more showed up so everyone that showed got a copy half price.

Also where does the 800 MS points come on?

There's a card that comes with it but it just states it's for agency-issue armor.

just got 1 in Midleton, got 800points and some dlc with it aswell. Only 5 lads there, could have had the last spot at 12.00.

All I got is a card for some downloadable Spartan armor.

Not sure if it's contained on that, can't check as it's for the nephew.
