    Hi I am to have a defibrillator inserted during the next few weeks:confused: can anyone offer me any advise on this operation as i have read the book about it and it says about operating electrical equipment (hair dryers computers all day to day stuff) Pretty scary actually.

    Moving to Health Sciences as the UL forum isn't really the ideal place for it.

    As it's a medical device, as always the best advice you can get is from your doctor.

    Yea listen you'll need to have a chat with your specialist about it the details of the devices you should avoid.

    There's lots of patient information around, a lot of it is bollocks but a few reputable sources include:
