Anyone up for the challenge in the new year? :D

Sure, right after that 12-hour race you're organising first.

Thomas don't worry I'm still looking into that also.

Intresting! A huge problem would be th kcal's and the fluids. Or frequent resupply.

And as for sleeping. A sled wouldn't be comfy. :-)

Sleeping bag and tent would be carried on the sled.
There is some nicely modified ones that people were using for the 6633 ultra in Canada.
Tents aren't comfy either IMO, but it'd to the job when your after running 50 or 60 miles.

If your a real hard you would carry it all on your back :-)

But I personally would be using Huskies and a sled with wheels. That way it wouldn't take too much out of me.

My name is Shaun Faulkner, I am 29 years old, from Merthyr Tydfil. I am planning to complete the Likeys 6633 350 mile arctic ultra.
    Race Structure

The 6633 ultra is a non stop self sufficient foot race over a distance of either 120 miles or 350 miles. Both races cross the line of the Arctic Circle, with the longer race continuing to the banks of the Arctic Ocean at Tuktoyaktuk. Pulling on sleds all their provisions

This is a challenge in itself, but the main reason I am doing it is to face my Anxieties Attacks, Panic Disorder and Agoraphobic fears head on. I have tried all the usual pathways over 15 years of suffering, many failed,it was running & cycling that helped me most and freed me from my self imposed prison. However, I am not totally there yet... the quote by Benjamin Franklin 'If you do tomorrow what you did today, you will get tomorrow what you got today' helped me realise I need to do something different, something more challenging that I have so far to get over that final elusive hurdle.

If you are interested in my Crowdfunding project would you please help me realise my goals by either pledging at the link below, helping with equipment or sharing my project anyway you can, via social media etc.

Here is smoe media coverage that spread well and have left me with great support and feedback, as well as having raised £390 towards my target so far shows there is certainly interest and suppport for the project.

The News article mentions the Frostskade race in Norway, tha has changed due to Frostskade contacting me to say it is most likely going to be cancelled and I had to choose a very similar race. I wasn't prepared to be stopped by the hurdle of a cancelled race.
