Mine shoots a tad faster(50-100 fps) than whats on the box..
My barrel is 26 inch and chambered with a tight, short throat which will increase pressure a small bit..
If you have a factory chamber and standard 24 inch barrel your speed should be around the prescribed mark...

Your best bet would buy a chrono...There around 90-100 quid......
If your into ballistic programs there the only way to go...otherwise your only guessing and wasting expensive ammo...

Im using the nightforce ballistic program and find it works spot on...
Had my winnie out yesterday for a shot and set up a gong out to 550yds.....
Wind was 12-15mph coming from 3 oclock and pissing rain, I put the data into my pocket pc, it told me 10.25 moa elevation and 3moa windage....
Pulled the trigger and hit dead center.....
