Obviously Ready to Die and Life After Death. We then get Born Again which had original stuff from Dead Wrong, some BIG freestyles were mixed into new beats.

The demos were released which had his original recordings, I don't think Duets: The Final Chapter has any original stuff. Victory was pushed on bad boy 10th anniversary. I think that is all of his stuff. Anyone know more?

Big's original DJ Mr Cee has a load of recorded master from Big around the time he signed Bad Boy. But he wont release it cus he fears what Puffy will do to em. I don't think they'll ever see the light of day

Why? Does Puff have copyrights on them?

Apart from mix tapes like this one there's not much available.

I remember in Nick Broomfield's Biggie & Tupac film, one of Biggie's friends had a bootleg copy of some previously unheard stuff, so I'd imagine there's plenty of stuff out there but it's unlikely to ever see the light of day.

I'm not sure what the legal situation is tbh, but i'd imagine Puff being the shrud business man that he is, he owns a good share of Big's masters and image rights, so if any material was to be released i'm sure Puff wud have a say about it.

and he has enough cash to make sure that he gets to release any 'new' BIG stuff on his label

Its a crime that this is happening. The man is gone 10 and a half years, if there is unheard stuff it needs to reach our ears.

He's dead over 13 years now actually. BIG died in March 1997. Makes you feel old, doesn't it :o

I have more or less anything that he has appeared on, and a couple of rare free styles from Mr Cees basement, but they are readily available from another biggie forum i do be on, notoriousonline.org.

Some mixtapes have come out with rare tracks, for example have you heard him performing two of lil kims songs from hardcore? He wrote them for her (as he did pretty much all of her album and Junior Mafias first album) and performed them for her so she could hear how it should sound. Hes defo the Greatest of all Time (IMO!) :D

He has a free style from Mr Cees basement starts with ;mumbling and whispering are what i hear when Big appear Nig**s get scared’, have yo heard this one? Goes on for a few minutes, Mr Cee plays a rare track or two on his March 9th show each year on hot97
