    Hey guys
I have signed up for this only 3 days ago.
After reading here i think I should have stuck with Vodafone at home..!

Is it really as bad as everyone appears to be saying?

Now If I look out my window I can see the mast they have their (transmitter?) on. It is around 300 meters from me with a clear view.
    ASlso
when on to the sales guy he said there is no cap whatsoever but i have heard since and also read here about a 30 gig cap??
    is this true??
if so i think a phone call to imagine tomorrow and cancel.. :(

    Hi Guys,

Sorry to drag up an old thread, inlaws are struggling with eircome broadbad, terrible speed as they are a coupe of miles ouside fermoy. I see wimax is available when I stick in their phone number on the site but has anyone any experience of speeds etc?

    Cheers,

I got Ripplecom for my parents in the deep beyonds of Offaly.
Phone coverage is poor there and eircom cabinet is about 4 miles away.

Working great and solid 8mb. There was installation fee. But it's great when I go there, I can still be contactable for work etc
