Not exactly in Dublin, but pretty close to what sockets you need, nearly on budget, and very hard to beat for out & out quality

    http://www.teng.co.uk/mr1234-teng-tools-34-pce-1-or-2-inches-drive-regular-or-deep-socket-set_789_pd.asp

If available locally, I doubt it would be anywhere near the price offered online.

    Cheers Shamwari,

Teng are really good kit allright and this one seems good price for that kit.

Pity that this set only goes up to 27 mm...

Same site also has a Sealey set around the same price. I just contacted them for price of delivery to Ireland.

Hold sway till Lightning comes back with that link to where he bought his. In addition, you can buy the extra sockets you need individiually; only problem is that there'll be no fancy case to store them in.:o :)

Thanks Lightning, much appreciated. Corkie, where did you buy your C.K.?

The toolshack came back to me too. It's a fixed shipping to Ireland at £14.99 up to 25 kg. I guess it would make sense to buy more stuff at the same time.

Yes Shamwari, it's good have all your tools in one basket. This was the Sealey I mentioned earlier around same price with Teng, what do you think:

Teng does look really nice though in comparison...

I got mine in a homevalue hardware outlet in Cork. I have to say they are very impressive. Be careful as there is a lot of junk for sale out there.

I'd say the there's much of a muchness between the Teng and Sealey sockets, but the Teng ratchets are very strong indeed. I've never broken one and I can say hand on heart that they are very tolerent of hard work. The only ratchet that I've seen which somes close to them is a halfords one, and it wasn't cheap.

Got a teng 1/2 and 1/4 set a few months back. Brilliant kit, and sockets take some abuse.
