    Hi Guys, Girls,

I want to learn to and earn a PPL (childhood dream and all that), so I have taken a 30 minute flight at the Limerick club.

Got the bug, however I wanted to ask - Could the lessons, the time in the air be transferable between Limerick and London. I understand the exams and where you initially register cannot be, but not sure of the lessons. The reason being is that i am currently working in Limerick, with a view of going back to the UK in <6 months.

    With Kind Regards.

the hours you log flying does not matter where you logged them as long as you have an instructer sign off on your log book.

AFAIK it can matter, because they may not be accepted if they have not been logged with instructuror certified to train by the license issuing authority ?
Now this may only be if you log hours with FAA instructor and go for JAA license ?
I was once told by IAA they would not accept hours logged in the states with a JAA instructor.

OP you need to clarify this with CAA.
